English Paper Piecing is seeing a revival, as many of the hand sewing and quilting techniques are. It's soothing, simple and portable, you don't need special tools or to be particularly skilled to construct beautiful results.
One such technique or pattern is called La Passacaglia. It's EPP (English Paper Piecing) to the extreme. It looks hard, but the fabrics do most of the work to make this kaleidoscopic beauty. We will be exploring this pattern as a group early this Winter/Spring. If you wish to explore this or any other modern EPP techniques, join us January 18 or February 15 during our monthly Get Togethers.
